Chamonix Tour de Fox

13-15 September

The Chamonix Tour de Fox is returning to Chamonix, France, to raise vital funds for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Over two days, cyclists are invited to ride through some of the most spectacular parts of the French Alps.

Starting in 2025, and in close collaboration with ZWAP Cycling Club, similar opportunities will also be available for those unable to participate in person — using Zwift’s digital cycling platform.

Indoor Rides Program — Hosted by ZWAP Cycling Club

13 September

  • Ven-Top Route: Take on the legendary Mont Ventoux! This GPS-accurate climb is the toughest in Zwift, gaining 1,480 meters over 21 km.
  • Ven-10 Route: A “little brother” version of Ven-Top, this route covers the first half of Ventoux, climbing 781 meters over 10 km.

14 September

  • Three Musketeers Route: Packed with 11 sprint and climb segments over just 35 km (193 meters of climbing), this is a true segment challenge.
  • Douce France Route: Meaning “Sweet France,” this scenic route covers the upper loop of Zwift’s France map, originally created for the first Virtual Tour de France — 24 km with 133 meters of climbing.

Ride format

  • Route 1 each day will be a free-paced ride without the “Keep Everyone Together” function, so each rider’s speed depends on individual effort.
  • Route 2 each day will use the “Keep Everyone Together” feature, ensuring that all riders stay grouped and finish together regardless of pace.

Throughout all rides, participants are invited to join a live Zoom video chat hosted by ZWAP Cycling Club, adding a fun social dimension.

To join, make sure you’re on Zwift and follow the event links above. You can also find the rides under ZWAP Cycling Club in the Zwift Companion app.
